We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us for whatever reason, whether it is no longer required, damaged or faulty.
We have created this 30 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. Most items sold by U Solar Shop have a manufacturer’s warranty. Some warranties are 12 months; others are as much as 2 – 25 years. The warranty on products is NOT with us, but from the manufacturer and it is up to them to honour it. However, if the item is initially faulty or damaged then we would be happy to exchange it.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2000).
Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:
(a) we receive the returned product within 30 days following the date of purchase of the product;
(b) the returned product is unused, in its original packaging and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new; or the product is faulty, and;
(c) you comply with the returns procedure set out below
Within the 30 day return window, you must contact U Solar Shop to notify them you will be returning the item. Only once this is agreed should you send the item, packaged to the same standard in which it was received, back to U Solar shop at the address listed here. The cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer when no fault lies with U Solar Shop.
If the item is faulty or damaged it is possible that U Solar Shop can arrange for it to be collected and replaced. In this case, please contact us to arrange this. You must have the item ready for collection at the specified time and date, again packaged to the same standard it was received.
