Environmentally conscious

Global warming and the rising cost of our energy bills affect us all. Solar power is a renewable energy source and the solar panels are also manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. One very important feature of solar PV systems is that there are no carbon dioxide emissions (the gas most responsible for global climate change). PV is completely free from any other polluting emissions. There is no pollution from noise, or exhaust fumes. For every 1000m2 of solar PV there is a carbon reduction of 27.5 tonnes per annum.

 

In England alone we are experiencing above average temperatures and some areas having to cope with extreme flooding because of abnormal levels of rainfall. Because of the ever rising water temperatures causing the ice-caps to melt at an increased rate the sea-level is predicted to rise 25cm by 2030, which will be catastrophic for low lying coastal regions.

This is now a great opportunity to do our bit and greatly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
